The Basic Cosmetology course includes the study of hair, nails, skin care and business management. This course requires 1500 clock hours and takes around 11 months to complete. The Cosmetology course is designed for those entering the field of cosmetology to qualify for and obtain the initial license as a professional cosmetologist.
The Esthetics course allows you to perform the basic manipulative skills required for facial massage, effective use of required implements and equipment, proper application of corrective makeup, unwanted hair removal. This course requires 600 clock hours and takes around 17 weeks to complete.
The Nail Technician course allows you to perform manipulative skills in the areas of manicures, pedicures, nail tip enhancements and to perform the basic analytical skills to determine proper nail services and nail shaping for the client's overall image and needs. This course requires 350 clock hours and takes around 10 weeks to complete.
The Cosmetology Instructor Trainee course is designed to assist licensed cosmetologist in preparing to qualify for the teacher's examination and licensing required to teach cosmetology. This course includes preparatory training and supervised teaching. This course is offered to a person with two years active experience as a licensed cosmetologist. This course requires between 750 hours to 2,000 to complete.
